Just Wondering

I had the thought that we may have already changed people's habits, whether we started out to do so, or not. Going somewhere just because it is a certain day (like Taco Tuesday), or a certain time of day (happy hour) might not seem that important anymore. Sitting very close at a Blazer game doesn't seem like something I should do. Shaking hands is probably on the way out, also. Squeezing in next to my buddies just to get a cold beer that I could have enjoyed at home could also be in jeopardy.
Will swimming pools, hot tubs, casinos, and other destination properties languish? Not if we listen to Fox News!

So Much Nothing

I've done so much nothing lately that I'm getting really good at it. I watched someone else clean my gutters, and I wore the mask my wife made. Me? I made toast, and read a book. My neighbor planted a garden, I yawned, and crawled back to the tv. Flowers are being planted, but not by me. I don't hate flowers, it's just that now I have the perfect excuse to go with my strength, laziness. I knew I'd eventually come into my own.

Tired of Sittin'

I'm plain flat out tired of sitting around.
I get it, that I have to social distance, and try to stay away from others, but now I need to wear a mask too. "Stay Home Stay Safe" they repeat endlessly (I should have said, mindlessly). This advice from people who go out every day, to work, or just to these non stop press conferences that have little to no news to impart. We've been home 3 weeks now, "oh; about another month" they opine with a straight face. I imagine some of these parents, also 3 weeks into 24 hr kids, are about to go out of their minds. It's got to be almost impossible to come up with things to do for your kids when going anywhere is not an option. School work can occupy some time, but what do they do when the kids start climbing the walls? Maybe force the kids to watch the press conferences, then they would go to sleep, I know I sure do!
