I'D Better Get Started

I've been told that it's time I got back to this blog again. I don't know if any of you agree with that, but I'm willing to to bumble straight ahead and keep this thing alive for a while longer.
I've been losing friends and acquaintances with more regularity lately, and that has to color how you view things." The old ones go and the young ones come " is a trite way say it, but it isn't any less true for all it's simplicity. It seems that some go way before their time, while others languish for years, unhappily alone. Thank God I'm not alone!!
All that being said, I feel great. I don't have any reason in particular, I just do. I still care about my garden, try to keep walking (for exercise), and otherwise keep active.
Tomorrow, they start repairing our roof. A tear-off, it will be noisy, dirty, and expensive. You can guess how much I'll like all that! At least it will give me something to complain about, as you will no doubt hear soon.

Old Titles

Looking back at some of the titles of older posts I found myself amused. Some of the subjects I've chosen to write about are as bland as complaining about one's garden. Others are more edgy, as I speculate about those in a waiting room.
There is even one about my abhorrence of squirrels, either in my attic or in my garden. [The attic part was rather expensive.]
This short trip down Memory Lane has shown me that I had better up my game and stop coming up with all these crazy subjects. I'm a little rusty at putting things into words on paper, as I've slacked off for quite a while. However, the overwhelming need to whine, complain, bitch, grumble, and otherwise sound off will probably win out. I'll be out here, a voice in the wilderness, probably a lot longer than anyone cares to read this drivel.

Stop To Think

With the passing of Stephen Hawking it was revealed by Cambridge University that there had been no one of that level to hold the Professorship of Mathematics since Issac Newton.
Only about 400 years. We should feel lucky to have lived in his time, as I'm sure he will be regarded as the Genius he was.

"Remember to look up at the stars; not down at your feet."

Back Again ?

I have been asked to bring this poor neglected blog back to life.
Should I do so? Does anyone care, or even read this thing?
After a short scan I realize that I still have hopes for my garden, and I still detest squirrels. My newest nemesis is a cheap MP3 player that plays wonderfully when connected to a computer, or even an earbud. Connect it to the car using a usb port, nothing. Technology is great, ain't it?

If there is any feedback, I might just continue this rant, as I love getting this crap off my chest, and you guys all benefit my inane rambling.
